Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Payless - Easier - Fast Arizona Defensive Driving website and online course (“Course,” “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for, accessing, or using the Course, you agree to these Terms.
Course Overview
Our Course is an Arizona-certified defensive driving program designed to meet court and state requirements for eligible traffic violations.
- The Course includes multiple online lessons and quizzes.
- Your progress is saved automatically, and you may log in and out as needed.
- Completion requires finishing all required lessons and passing all quizzes as instructed within the Course platform.
We do not guarantee court acceptance unless all eligibility requirements are met and the Course is completed according to state rules.
Course Completion Requirements
To receive a Certificate of Completion:
- You must complete all required lessons and quizzes.
- You must meet all Arizona Supreme Court and court-specific deadlines.
- You must satisfy identity verification requirements
Failure to meet these requirements may result in delayed or denied certification.
Affirmation of Eligibility
Traffic citation, government issued identification, and any other applicable paperwork must be submitted to our school prior to course start. Payment must be made prior to the course start.
Eligibility Requirements
- You have not attended a Defensive Driving course for an eligible traffic citation issued within the past 12 months. Your eligibility to attend a Defensive Driving Course is based on the date of your current violation not on the date you last attended a Defensive Driving Course.
- Your violation must be on the list of eligible violations.
- If eligible, you can attend to have only one violation dismissed.
- If you were involved in a serious injury accident or fatal accident, you are not eligible.
- You must complete your course no later than 7 days prior to your court date.
- You may take the class in person or online. If you were specifically ordered by a judge to attend the course in person, you must register for a classroom course.
If you hold a Commercial Driver License (CDL) you may be eligible for the defensive driving program. Effective September 1, 2019, commercial driver license holders may complete a defensive driving course under the following conditions:
- The individual was driving a vehicle requiring a Class D or a Class M license.
- The vehicle was not being used for commercial purposes.
- Meets the other defensive driving eligibility requirement for non-commercial driver license holders.
- After successful completion of an Arizona-certified defensive driving program, the court is required to forward the record of judgement to Arizona Motor Vehicle Division, however no points are assessed to the driver’s record.
- Based on the violation code MVD may direct the individual to attend Traffic Survival School (TSS).
The student represents and warrants that the user information and registration information provided by the student is true and correct and acknowledges that the truth and accuracy of such information is a material inducement to the course provider in permitting the student to enroll in the course. The student further acknowledges and agrees that any willful or intentional misrepresentation by the student regarding such user information or registration information constitutes a breach of this agreement and of the affirmation of eligibility by the student as provided in this agreement, and may subject the student to liability for damages incurred by the course provider as a result thereof, including but not limited to general, consequential, and punitive damages.
Deadlines
Where applicable, you must complete the Course at least 7 days before your court date or any court-imposed deadline. The course must be registered and paid in full at least 8 days prior to your court date. Failure to complete all required elements of the course at least 7 days prior to the court date will result in no certificate of completion being issued.
Identity Verification
The state of Arizona requires us to ask a series of identity questions when you register for the course. We will ask 10 multiple choice questions before you begin the course material. It’s very important that you write down your answers to these identity questions You will be asked an identity verification question four times throughout the course, and you will be required to answer them correctly to move forward!
If you answer an identity question incorrectly, you will have one more chance to answer a different question. If that question is answered correctly, you can move forward. If you do not answer the second identity question correctly, you are required by the state of Arizona to restart the course from the beginning. No exceptions can be made to this rule.
User Conduct & Anti-Circumvention Policy
The student agrees that he/she, and not any other person, will study the material in its entirety and complete the lesson quizzes and final exam. It is illegal to attempt to circumvent this online course or provide false information. If the course provider discovers that the student has willfully misrepresented himself or has cheated, the student will be stopped from completing the course with no refund. In addition, the student may be prosecuted for perjury and other criminal acts which are punishable by law.
Fees & Pricing
Total fees include:
- A court diversion fee (varies by court)
- A state fee of $24
- A state surcharge of $45
- A course fee
- Processing fees
State and court-related fees are collected at registration and remitted to the appropriate agencies as required.
Refund Policy
Before Course Access
If you cancel before starting the Course, you may be eligible for a refund of the Course fee, minus a processing fee.
After Course Access
Once you begin the Course:
- Course fees are non-refundable.
- State and court fees are non-refundable except where required by law or court discretion.
- Refund requests must be submitted to our support team for review. Approved refunds are processed within 30 days.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue.
If a chargeback is initiated:
- We may suspend your Course access immediately.
- We reserve the right to revoke or invalidate any Certificate of Completion issued.
- The account may be permanently restricted from future use.
- We may provide evidence of Course access and usage to the payment processor.
- Any reversed funds may still be considered owed if services were delivered.
We encourage all payment disputes to be resolved directly with our support team prior to initiating a chargeback.

To access the Course, you must use a compatible device and modern web browser with:
- JavaScript enabled
- Cookies enabled
- Stable internet connection
We do not guarantee functionality on outdated or unsupported browsers or devices.
Copyright and Limited Permission to Copy
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and similar rights in all material published on the Site are owned by Payless - Easier - Fast Arizona Defensive Driving or by it's respective third party manufacturers, authors, developers and vendors (“Third Party Providers”) and are the copyrighted work of Payless - Easier - Fast Arizona Defensive Driving and/or its Third Party Providers. You are permitted to print or download extracts from this material for your personal use only. None of these materials may be used for any commercial or public use. No part of the Site may be disseminated in any form, either electronic or non-electronic, nor included in any retrieval system or service without the prior express permission of Payless - Easier - Fast Arizona Defensive Driving.
Certificate Delivery
Upon successful completion, your Certificate of Completion will be submitted electronically to the appropriate court where applicable.
Optional personal copies may be available for purchase.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
